Emergency Aid First Aid Course Syllabus
| The first aid course is aimed at training an "Appointed Person" to recognise the scale of the emergency, prevent loss of life and send for first aid help if necessary. The course complies with the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) 1981 "First Aid at Work" legislation for Appointed persons". Each emergency first Aid course is adjusted to suit the needs of the students, there is no assessment at the end of the course. The emergency first aid course is 4 - 6 hours. Each student receives an emergency first aid booklet as well as a certificate of attendance. The following list gives details of subjects covered in our courses: |

Resuscitation

Special Extras
The course can be tailored to suit particular industries (eg resuscitation for electricians). Special areas of first aid which need extra elaboration for specific groups will be covered in the last session of the course. The time remaining will be used in a question and answer forum using the students experience. There is no exam for this course but the candidates receive an attendance voucher. |
Bostock Health Care are registered by the HSE to provide First Aid training. We can also refresh all First Aid at Work certificates regardless of where you trained. |
